Decisive moment(Black & White)

Decisive moment

1st photo: The reason why i took this photo is because, it took us about 10min just to cross a one way traffic in Malaysia. As my Family took the time looking for every opportunity on crossing the street. The photo was taken at night, after the new year countdown. My ISO need to be boost up to a rather suitable range so that it won't create much noise and shutter speed to be set at a rather low speed. Keeping my hand steady so i won't create any light trails.

2nd Photo:The photo was taken when i cover an event at an handicap Christmas celebration cum anniversary. I took it with my zooming lens, lighting condition there was rather good. But I used my external flash to enhance the lighting. Capturing their every move as they play the games. Taking their pictures had been a grateful experience, to think of all the challenges they had gone through and to see them smile is all we can do.

3rd Photo:The photo was taken when i cover an event at an handicap Christmas celebration cum anniversary. I took it with my zooming lens applying the frame within a frame method. Capturing the man staring at the window, while using the natural light to light up his face. It was a great experience having to wait for that very moment and in a split second he could have change his position.

4th Photo: My cat, she has been with me for 9 solid years. 1 active cat that goes crazy every single time she saw me. But after her meal. She will just lay back at her favorite spot in the living room. I took the opportunity to take a picture of her while she was about to sleep. But end up she was shocked to see my camera as though it was a gun pointing her face.Used my external flash to enhance the lighting.

Light play(Black & White)

Lighting

1st Photo: Used 2 torchlight to shine on both left and right of the replica mini M-16 rifle, ISO was set to 200 so there won't be much noise.used a mini tri-pod to hold the camera steady. The reason why i took this subject because, its was rather rare to find this anywhere in Singapore. It may look useless but its actually a lighter, although its already "not in service".I cover my room up so it will be dark and just use the torch light as the light source.

2nd Photo: The settings are the same, only the torchlight changed position. Now its front and back of the rifle. It look different from different angle. I focus on the barrel on both picture as I find it more interesting with the stand. This rifle too had been with my dad since he was young when he is in the army.
